My very first Pinterest project

I did it! And I think it's going to be a nice scarf alternative...

The ice is crazy!

I know for a fact that I have been blessed during this winter storm. Family members have lost power due to the ice and I only had one small and brief incident. However, that incident included what seemed like lightning over my neighbor's house... Twice.

Now, as I look outside I see my laurel bushes splitting and dropping. I just looked outside and, while I saw that the city plowed our street, they put bolder sized chunks of snow in front of my driveway. I mean, I drive a Scion... Not my sister's 4x4!

And I'm scheduled for 5pm coverage tomorrow. Makes me wonder if I'll make it or, with what I'm hearing on the news, if the building will even be open. I've loved the time off... But I know TC's getting sick of me...

Snow day!!!

When I woke up and realized that work had been cancelled due to snow, I felt like I was in grade school again! After all, what 38 year old woman gets a snow day??? And then I look outside where it's still snowing and realize how beautiful it is. Just look at these pics from my window...
